This week is Debt Awareness Week and we're proud to support StepChange Debt Charity's campaign so more people can get help with their debt.
We know that debt is part of life, but sometimes it becomes a problem. Research from StepChange shows that nearly half of people in problem debt felt a sense of shame about it*, and 92% of StepChange clients wish they had got help with their debt sooner**.
Nobody should have to struggle in silence, and we want to help anyone who is struggling with debt, get the support they need.
That's why this Debt Awareness Week we're proudly supporting StepChange to challenge the stigma around debt and raise awareness of the free and impartial support that is available for anyone worried about debt.
Our message is simple: If you're in problem debt, you're not alone and help is available.
